This song was a response to a challenge to write a song with as many book titles as I could.

Sometimes I feel like my insides are TWISTED

Spending time hiding from THE MADNESS UNDERNEATH
It was all dark, THIS THING CALLED THE FUTURE
No LIGHT IN THE ATTIC
Until I understood the power and freedom in words.

It is a truth, universally acknowledge
We're all made of stories
Like LUNA's or the BATBOY's or FRANKIE LANDAU-BANKS
We can't tell when we look in their faces THE THINGS THEY CARRIED
So this world around me makes for great escape
